The villas
Each villa is a single circular room of roughly 90 square metres, with a fireplace at its centre, a freestanding bath, and a curved wall of glass facing the volcanoes. There is no television, and the design deliberately keeps you looking outward. Underfloor heating and hot water bottles matter more than you expect at 2,600 metres — evenings sit in the low teens Celsius.
The three-villa Bisate Reserve, opened alongside the original lodge, works well for a family or a group travelling together who want the property's quieter end with a dedicated guide and vehicle.
