Within one working day, Gerry replies with a bespoke draft itinerary composed for your group alone — never a recycled brochure. Includes day-by-day plans, lodge options, and transparent pricing.
We refine together until every detail is exactly right. Most guests finalise their itinerary within 2–3 exchanges.
Confirm & Secure Permits
Confirm your journey with a 30% deposit (bank transfer or card). Gerry immediately secures your gorilla permits with the Rwanda Development Board — these sell out months in advance.
The balance is due 60 days before arrival. Cancellation policies and payment terms are clearly outlined in your proposal.
Arrive in Kigali
Fly to Kigali International Airport (KGL). Gerry's team meets you at arrivals with a welcome kit. Your private Toyota Land Cruiser V8, driver-guide, and 5-star lodge are ready and waiting.
From touchdown to your first gorilla encounter, every moment is orchestrated. All you need to bring is your sense of wonder.
Before You Book
Book Early
Peak season permits (June–September, December) sell out 6–12 months ahead. The sooner you enquire, the better your choice of dates and gorilla families.
Flexible Payments
30% deposit to confirm, balance due 60 days before arrival. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards.
Free Cancellation Support
If plans change, we work with you to reschedule. Permit policies are set by RDB, but Gerry navigates the process for you.
Solo Travellers Welcome
No single supplements on most journeys. Gerry composes private itineraries for solo adventurers just as readily as for groups.
Travel Insurance Required
We require comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation. Gerry can recommend trusted providers.
Kigali Flights
Kigali (KGL) is served by RwandAir, Ethiopian Airlines, KLM, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, and others. Gerry can advise on the best routing.
